Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables graduated with honors from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Theater. When she moved to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in theater, acting and choreographing more than a dozen productions. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. In addition to continuing her studies in improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television as well as in films. Her unique voice and petite size has enabled her to take on a wide variety of characters. Her work has included Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara However, she's most well-known for her radiant and lively receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a TV Land series regular from 2011-2015, playing an attorney in the daytime as well as a party girl at night. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW show No Tomorrow. She has lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim, yet adorable Cloud 9 worker. The couple has two young kids and has a peaceful home. She likes to write as well as sew, and she also volunteers at schools.
