She left in 2018 the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina accepted an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight following her first fight by unanimous decision. Antonina returned to the ring after her loss and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 in her three subsequent matches, winning against Ariane Lipski and being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
