Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes the soul of gospel and jazz with R&B in a signature mix. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway and at festivals in Europe, as well as the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Although she is a resident of Atlanta now, Sunshine is from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician by singing and playing in the local church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on the Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan It has been remixed since by many producers and remains an essential part of her live sets. Additionally, she was a part of The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. She was appointed as the main keyboardist of Tyler Perry's stage play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her singing she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls production at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention through her performances on four consecutive days in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform in the Obama administration's 2008 inauguration.
