Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer writer/music director as well as a text coach. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors at the end of her time, she made her debut as director (and Lighting Designer) for the SSC's King Lear.
